TC_AFRICA THERAPY
Therapy is more of preventive rather than curative. This program has been designed to inspire the belief that prevention is better than cure. We focus on 3 things; diet, body temperature and alignment of spine while we engage experts and certified professionals to help our members live a better and healthy life.
The alignment of the spine refers to how the vertebrae are stacked and positioned relative to each other to support your body properly. Ideally, a healthy spine has three gentle, natural curves when viewed from the side:
- Cervical curve (neck) — slight inward curve (lordosis)
- Thoracic curve (upper back) — slight outward curve (kyphosis)
- Lumbar curve (lower back) — slight inward curve (lordosis)
Good spinal alignment helps with:
- Distributing weight evenly
- Maintaining balance
- Reducing stress on muscles, joints, and ligaments
- Preventing diseases, injury and pain
Poor alignment can lead to issues like back pain, herniated discs, or posture problems.
Body temperature is the measure of how warm your body is — basically how well it maintains the balance between heat production and heat loss.
The normal body temperature for a healthy adult is about 98.6°F (37°C), but it can range slightly:
- 97°F to 99°F (36.1°C to 37.2°C) is considered normal.
- It can vary based on the time of day, activity level, age, and even what you eat or drink.
Ways to measure it:
- Oral (mouth)
- Rectal (more accurate, especially for babies)
- Axillary (underarm, a little less precise)
- Tympanic (ear)
- Temporal (forehead)
Important temperature signs:
- Fever: Above 100.4°F (38°C) — usually a sign of infection.
- Hypothermia: Below 95°F (35°C) — dangerous low temperature.
- Hyperthermia: Way above normal — can happen with heatstroke.
Your body uses the brain (especially the hypothalamus) to regulate temperature by sweating, shivering, and adjusting blood flow.
